Parallel tracks multiply versions of the truth
A single-track event has one schedule. A three-track conference has one master schedule and three room-level views that all have to agree — and with three rounds of breakouts, that is nine sessions, nine speakers, nine AV setups whose timing interlocks. The moment one session moves, the master and every room view have to move together, and maintaining them by hand in separate documents is how they disagree by day two. This builder generates the whole grid from two numbers — tracks and rounds — so the structure is consistent by construction. Rename the sessions to your real talks, and every slot stays aligned to the same clock.

Sessions rarely destroy a conference schedule; the gaps between them do. Every breakout round ends with a microphone handover, a laptop swap, a slide check, and several hundred people crossing the venue to their next room. That is a fifteen-minute operation, and schedules that allocate five minutes for it are why track two runs late all afternoon. This builder inserts explicit changeover blocks between rounds and makes them visible rows in the agenda — because a changeover that appears on the schedule gets staffed and enforced, and one that does not gets absorbed into speaker overrun.

Two moments of a conference day are genuinely immovable: the keynote, because it is the one session every attendee and sponsor is present for, and lunch, because catering is contracted to the minute. Everything else — session lengths, round counts, the closing panel — flexes around them. The right way to design the day is to place those anchors first and let the breakout grid fill the space between, which is exactly the order this builder works in. It is also why the keynote deserves a hard stop agreed with the speaker in advance: a ten-minute keynote overrun does not cost ten minutes, it costs ten minutes multiplied by every track you run.

Is this conference agenda builder free?
Yes — build, edit, and print a full multi-track conference day here with no signup. For multi-day conferences, per-track sharing with speakers, and branded exports, open it in the full Chronolio app.
How many parallel tracks can I plan?
Up to four tracks and four breakout rounds here — a sixteen-session day. The full Chronolio app has no such limits and handles multi-day programs with per-day schedules.
Can I plan a multi-day conference?
This free builder covers one full day. Multi-day conferences with named days — workshops Monday, main program Tuesday and Wednesday — are supported in the full Chronolio app, where each day keeps its own schedule inside one event.
How do I share the agenda with speakers and AV?
Print it straight from this page. In the full app you can share a live link instead — speakers, AV, and volunteers always see the current version, and updates reach everyone without resending attachments.
